In Telangana for admission to the professional course like B.Pharm, B.Tech, B.Sc. (Agri) the Govt. of  Telangana, conducts an entrance exam called EAMCET every year in the month of April/May.   The students are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the test.

Admissions are conducted in a systematic manner by means of counseling based on the rank by Convenor EAMCET.  Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course and college.

70% of seats are filled through the EAMCET rank.   30% seats are filled by the management based on the merit at Intermediate.
